As a teacher, I seek to make dance accessible to all people and involve teaching practices that dissolve the boundaries between who "can" and "can't" dance so that everyone can have the opportunity to more deeply connect with themselves, each other, and the spaces we share. As a former member of AXIS Dance Company, I am passionate about sharing the inclusive practices of Integrated Dance to populations of all abilities. I approach being an educator as an opportunity to nurture, empower, and inspire the whole person through providing a safe and welcoming atmosphere, helping each student recognize their potential and individual voice, and being a good leader.
